Choeng Mon Beach is a beautiful small beach in the Northeastern corner of Samui. It is less crowded than Chaweng beach and offers a relaxing atmosphere. The white sandy beach with shallow water is perfect for families with small children. The area is also popular with couples and honeymooners as there are some luxury hotels with their own private beaches such as The Tongsai Bay and Six Senses Hideaway. Only a few shops and restaurants are found on the beach road, but a 10-minute short drive takes you to the centre of Chaweng Beach with its many shops, restaurants and bars.
